Due to Hurricane Matthew, YPGO ended up cancelling the October Networking Social for fear of the safety of our members. We do hope that everyone weathered the storm well and that things will get back to normal soon.

The Young Professionals Group Ormond’s November Networking Social was at Fletcher’s Irish Pub. We enjoyed food from Smoke Shack BBQ, drinks, a game or two of pool, and live music by Clayton Park!

The YPGO November Social benefited our featured non-profit, Light the Way, a local non-profit that we worked with earlier this year. Light the Way is a community network that supports local cancer patients. If you would like to get more involved with this group, they are hosting an event at the Gaslamp Shoppes on Granada on Thursday, November 10th from 4-8pm. There will be food, music, wine, local vendors, and activities. A percentage of the sales from the Gaslamp Shoppes will go towards supporting local cancer patients with medical expenses, care packages, and thoughtful/feel good gifts. As a result of our November networking social, YPGO was able to donate $400.00 to Light the Way.

For our next event we will be again teaming up with Ormond Mainstreet and the Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce to host a Holiday Block Party on December 1st. We hope to see everyone there to kick off the holiday season.
