On January 12th YPGO kicked off 2017 with its first monthly networking social held at the Museum of Arts & Sciences. The Museum of Arts & Sciences is an education institution and is the primary art, science and history museum in Central Florida, not to mention one of our areas largest museums! Offering a wide range of collections, there is definitely something to interest any visitor. One could spend an entire day on the campus visiting locations like the planetarium and children’s museum, and viewing collections of Chinese, Cuban, African, Florida, American and decorative arts, along with exhibits on the Prehistory of Florida, sculpture, Coca-Cola, and American industrialists. Our January event was held in the Train Station within the Root Family Museum. If you are looking for a venue to host an event, this location should definitely be put on your list! Thank you to Blue Bayou Cajun Bistro & Bar for providing us with food for the evening!

Our featured non-profit for the evening was the Museum of Arts & Sciences. We are happy that we were able to give our members and guests a sneak peak of just a small part of what the Museum has to offer. The first social of 2017 was awesome. We had a lot of new membership sign up and it was definitely a sign of good things to come for the year ahead. Because of your generosity, we were able to donate a check for $500.00 to the Museum of Arts & Sciences.

Our February social is coming up and it is a real YPGO first! We will be hosting a joint social with the Young Professionals Group of Flagler County. Let’s mix and mingle with another like-minded group while putting a spotlight on another wonderful non-profit. See you all on February 1st!
