On January 12th YPGO kicked off 2017 with its first monthly networking social held at the Museum of Arts & Sciences. The Museum of Arts & Sciences is an education institution and is the primary art, science and history museum in Central Florida, not to mention one of our areas largest museums! On December 13th we hosted our Member Ugly Sweater Party at Virgola. Rest assured, the members of YPGO showed up in full force and were definitely dressed in their most hideous holiday apparel. Thank you Virgola for hosting our holiday party and for providing us with wonderful food and drink. On December 1st, YPGO, the Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce, and Ormond Mainstreet teamed up to host a Holiday Bock Party that started on the west end of Granada Plaza, beachside in Ormond. Those in attendance followed the holiday balloons to all participating businesses and got the chance to checkout store fronts and locations that may have been new to us. All businesses provided some sort of snack or drink, and of course, signed off on our block party map!...

Due to Hurricane Matthew, YPGO ended up cancelling the October Networking Social for fear of the safety of our members. YPGO hosted its September Networking Social at the First Green Bank in Ormond Beach on Thursday, September 1st. The First Green Bank is one of the first banks in the United States which has an environmental and social mission.
